Alphabetical Directory
I have always been a set collector. Since I began collecting in 1988, that was the be-all-end-all. Until lately. Modern sets are too small, and there's not enough of them. I have transitioned more into my project of getting at least one card of every NBA player and NASCAR person to have a card, and I expanded out to the NHL in that project in 2017. But that's not all- I've since decided that I would go all-out and include EVERYONE who ever got a card into my documentation project. Although I may not have any desire to collect football or baseball, I will document them just the same- and since I will take literally any card in trade, with the hopes that I will get a new name for my Names Project,, currently over 13,000 different people at the time of this typing, they are adding up. Not all of them have been scanned yet.

Auto Racing
I became a sports fan when I was 2 years old, in 1986, when I discovered monster truck racing. At Christmas 1992 I became a NASCAR fan and it's been a huge part of my life ever since- and of course cards followed. There have been times in my life where I have collected NASCAR exclusively, most recently from 2007-10.

Baseball is the king of the could take all the cards made in every other topic except football, combine them, and you'd not top the number of baseball cards made. I've never actively collected or watched the sport, but you can't collect cards for any length of time and not end up with some baseball cards. I've ended up with over 2000 over the years...

The vast majority of my collection is NBA basketball cards. I became a fan of the sport in February 1996 when my mom gave me a pack of 1995-96 Fleer Series 2 for a Valentine's Day present. I found a game on TV that night and became hooked. My main project in the hobby is to get at least one card of every NBA player to ever get one, a project I have also expanded out to NASCAR and as of 2017, the NHL.

Of the five major sports, Football is the one I would classify as my least favorite- although the only stick and ball sport I've ever seen live in person. As such, I also know the least about it. However, I have taken in more than a few cards via blind trades and lot additions. I have enough that I can give them the full documentation like I have done with the other sports I actively collect.

I became a huge hockey fan in November 2016. I saw a thread on the Trading Card Database discussing the Golden Knights' logo and wanted to see what it was. I put on NHL Network and was hooked by the end of On the Fly. Hockey has been a huge part of every day since then, and will be a part of every day of my life going forward. I had actually tried to get into it during 1995-96, when I played floor hockey in school, but I couldn't tell what was going on. With my poor eyesight and tv technology of the time, it just didn't take. Being able to see it in HD on my phone a foot from my face made the difference.

Any cards that are of people and are not sports cards. Cards of athletes from Non-Sport sets are sorted into the sport. Non-Sports cards were the first cards ever made, in the mid/late 1800s, and is essentially how I began collecting in 1988. Although I don't talk about them too much, I enjoy Non-Sports cards as much or more than most sports cards. I just have less access to them.

Card Shows
After not having any card shows to go to since 2005, I've discovered two monthly shows in Connecticut that I plan to visit on a regular basis.
